The history of Vinedos y Bodegas Alconde is the history of the winegrowers of Lerin, in the Ribera Alta of Navarra (across the river from Rioja). Since Roman times, the production and enjoyment of wine has formed part of the history of our town. Just 10 minutes away from Bodegas Alconde is the Roman Villa of Arellano, where it is still possible to appreciate vestiges of its relationship to the world of wine.

In medieval times, significant amounts of wine were already being sent from Lerin to supply neighbouring regions such as Alava and La Rioja. All of this is recorded in La Saca of 1356, a document which, by order of the Crown of Navarre, contained the records of this national export of the wine produced in this town.

Today, these winegrowers from Lerin continue to maintain all that wisdom to know the soils, read the conditions set by the climate of the are, use the techniques that the vineyard demands and extract from the grapes everything that represents the uniqueness of a land where the vine has put down its roots for centuries. 

The vines are sustainably grown and the wines are vegan friendly.
