Corkscrew Imports is a boutique wine importation venture, dedicated to collaborating with small family farmers. Our preference for partnering with these artisans stems from a commitment to amplifying their voices, particularly in the expansive Ontario market where they can be overlooked. Many of these smaller wineries boast a rich familial heritage that can span generations, and it's a privilege to share the remarkable stories that accompany each bottle.

Embracing sustainability as a core principle, all of these farmers operate in eco-conscious ways, with a significant number proudly holding certifications for organic and vegan-friendly practices.

Jennifer Wood

Jen moved deeper into the wine world in 2017 after a 25+ year career working in the legal field, because let’s face it, wine is more fun to talk about! While her favourite wine is usually the one that is in her glass, Champagne will always hold a special place in her heart.

Jen is a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers (CMS) and has passed her WSET Level 3 with Merit. She's currently a WSET Diploma student and works with Fine Vintage wine school as a teaching assistant.
