La Fortezza is a fifth-generation Tuscan wine business with roots reaching back more than 120 years, beginning in the late 1800s when the family first traded bulk wine around Montecarlo and the surrounding hills. What started with donkey carts, demijohns, and flasks has grown into a modern family-run company, now bottling and distributing a thoughtful selection of Tuscan wines under the La Fortezza name.

Based in San Salvatore, near Lucca, La Fortezza keeps one foot firmly in tradition while focusing on approachable, well-made wines that deliver real value.
