Sangioveeeeeeeeese! And yes, you have to shout the name with an Italian accent!
We are one of only 5 or 6 producers of this emblematic Italian variety! And we are very happy with the result. The vineyard was planted in 2018 and this is the second vintage, and the first to be sold in Chile (2021 was exquisite and everything was exported to the UK, USA and Hong Kong before being able to debut it here!).
The vineyard is organic (obviously!) and here in Santa Ana, about 300m from La Despensa. The grapes that come out are of very high quality and the wine is really amazing. We are very proud of the result! It has the typical notes of Sangiovese like tomato and sour cherry, but with the fresh touch that unites all the wines we make.
